IT WAS SO YOUNG, WHYYY LAPPY WHYYYY

I brought it to campus ITS and they said it was very likely the RAM or the processors, so my Hard Drive should be fine, but this is incredibly likely to mean that A) I'm not gonna be doin' much on the internet unless tomorrow's trip to the Apple store gives me some useful results, and B) Medley soup won't be happening until I get home, which is fine because I need to concentrate on finals and stuff anyways.

So yeah, everyone, uh, please pray for my lappy's survival. Or alternatively, its replacement with a better model MacBook Pro. Because I want a better lappy, and most of my important stuff has been backed up.

Ok, guys, we're in the last-minute crunch of HOLY SHIT finals and essays EVVVVVERYWHERE

So like uh, although I plan on attempting to continue to get comics done on mondays and fridays, they may be later than normal for the next couple of weeks.
Especially tomorrow. I need to get a proper amount of sleep and not be staying up past midnight just to wake up at 7 in the morning to get to class. Tomorrow's and probably next monday's comics are gonna be laaate.

So uh yeah. Not that anyone cares, just warnin' ya.

You know what I'm really sick of?
People who obviously favorite every new deviation they can so that they can get as many pageviews as possible from the grateful artist going to their page to thank them.

I have nothing against the favoriting system or pageviews, but when people do this type of thing, it's not only a petty cry for attention, but it's an insult to the artists whose work they just breeze over in an attempt to gain pageviews. Many of those artists put a lot of work into whatever they deemed worthy of trying to show other people, and while it's always a treat to have their work favorited, it's painful to realize that those favorites are from people who likely did not even look at it. It's even worse to realize that something that had a good deal of effort has been favorited right alongside some ms-paint job or a poorly taken myspace photo.

I hate this site. I really do. If it weren't for the fact that some truly awesome people are on here and that some excellent fandom shenanigans happen within an incredibly small part of this site, I would have quit long ago. I realize that I'm whining about things that hundreds of other people have already whined about, but the problem just seems too big to be able to fix. Whining about it is the only thing I can do, besides quitting.

If you really want the attention, if you want the pageviews, earn it with your art. Don't take advantage of people's gratitude for something so idiotic.
